What/who made you decide to book a boudoir session?
I wanted to do it as a surprise gift for my husband who was on deployment for our anniversary
What made you choose Hillary West Studios?
A co-worker at the time suggested it. I was very apprehensive and unsure of the whole process until I met Hillary. After our first consultation I knew she was the right person and heard my fears
What were you nervous about going into your session?
Am I going to look fat or stupid? Is Hillary going to judge me? (Let’s face it we all fear being judged) Hillary doesn't judge and made me feel sexy!
What was your favorite part of the experience?
The time an attention to detail Hillary took. You can tell through the progression of my photos how comfortable Hillary made me feel and it wasn’t forced
How do you feel now that you've completed the session?
Hillary said probably one of the most profound things to me that “This is how my husband sees me, even when I don’t see myself this way”. After talking to him he practically said the same thing. I realized I was a lot harder on myself then I needed to be.
What advice would you give to women interested in doing a session?
Get out of your own head. Whatever it is holding you back just do it you won’t regret it!
